This is my work for Monica Parade!
Monica is the main character of a great brazilian comic called "Turma da Mônica" (it means something like "Monica's Gang" xD) created by a great man called Mauricio de Sousa. He is a very important artist here (he is like our Walt Disney and Monica is our Mickey Mouse!)!
I`ve been working at Mauricio de Sousa Studios for a year, and I was invited (plus 49 artists) to customize my own version of a 5.3 ft tall Monica statue! (just like Cow Parade!)
My inspiration was everything I love! You can find lots of Turma da Mônica characters and tons of other psychedelic stuff!!! Hope you like it!
(I have a great english teacher as roomie, but my english is meh.... Sorry about that xD)
